Canadian Tire is a chain of retail stores. This particular location is in Beacon Hill, NW Calgary. It was built in 2008, but the panel is not original.
System Specifications
FACP
The fire alarm panel is an EST (GE) QuickStart QS4 from 2012-13. It most likely replaced an older variant that was original. The panel is located in the automotive entrance.
Notification Appliances
The notification appliances are Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bells on EST "Integrity" 403-5A-R (15cd) strobe plates. Outside, there are Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bells with EST "Integrity" CS405-7A-T (15/75cd) weatherproof remote strobes below them. In May 2021, one outdoor bell failed and was replaced with an Edwards MB6-24 motor bell, with the strobe remaining intact.
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
The pull stations are all EST SIGA-270 addressable pull stations which were installed during construction.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are most likely EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout.
