The EST QuickStart is a line of fire alarm control panels made by EST. They had three models over the years they made them. The series was introduced in around 2002-2003 and was discontinued in 2020. The panels are common in Calgary, but the one that is the most common is the QS1.
Models
- QuickStart QS1 - an addressable control panel with a capacity for up to 250 points. This is the most common QuickStart panel in Calgary.
- QuickStart QSC - a conventional control panel with a capacity for up to 48 Class B IDCs or a combination of 40 Class A & B IDCs.
- QuickStart QS4 - an addressable and conventional control panel with a capacity for up to 1000 addressable points, or 48 Class B IDCs, or 40 Class A and B IDCs combined.
