The fire alarm system is a Siemens FireFinder XLS. The fire panel is in an unmarked electrical room behind the YMCA. It replaced the original Cerberus Pyrotronics MXL in 2012 due to the expansion, and the MXL not having enough capacity to fulfill those requirements. The system is two-stage, and does slow march time in first stage, and most likely code-3 in general alarm.

The main notification appliances seen throughout the whole building except for 2012 parts are Cerberus Pyrotronics BDC-10 (rebranded Wheelock MB-G10-24) motor bells on Wheelock RSSP-24MCW strobe plates, rebranded by Cerberus Pyrotronics. The 2012 addition in Cardel Rec South has Siemens SFM24-6A motor bells on Siemens ST-MC-RETRO-R-B (rebranded bilingual Wheelock RSSP-24MCW) strobe plates. In the original wing, in the hallway to the high school, there is a number of interesting bell/strobe combos as bells and/or strobes broke down. For one, there's a Cerberus BDC-10 bell on a Siemens ST-MC-RETRO-R-B strobe plate, which replaced an original Wheelock strobe plate. There is also a Mircom BL-10B motor bell on a mentioned Siemens strobe plate, a Siemens SFM24-10A motor bell on a Siemens ST-MC-RETRO-R-B strobe plate, and a Potter MBA-10-24VDC motor bell on a Wheelock RSSP-24MCW strobe plate still intact. Outside the entrance of Bishop O'Byrne High School, there is a Cerberus Pyrotronics BDC-10 motor bell, and outside the Cardel Rec South entrance, there is a Siemens ST-75-WP-B (rebranded bilingual Wheelock RSSWP-2475W-FR) weatherproof remote strobe.

System Specifications

FACP

The fire alarm system is a Siemens FireFinder XLS. The fire panel is in an unmarked electrical room behind the YMCA. It replaced the original Cerberus Pyrotronics MXL in 2012 due to the expansion, and the MXL not having enough capacity to fulfill those requirements. The system is two-stage, and does slow march time in first stage, and code-3 in general alarm.

Notification Appliances

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

The main pull stations are Cerberus MSI-30B throughout the building. The main pull stations for the 2012 wing are Siemens HMS-2S. They can also be seen as replacements for the failed Cerberus pull stations in the 2000 parts. Both models are addressable and two-stage.

Automatic Detection Devices

The automatic detection devices are Siemens FirePrint FP-11 intelligent multi-sensor smoke/heat detectors.
