Canadian Tire is a retail store chain in Canada. This location is in Dalhousie, NW Calgary. The building is from 1982, but nothing is original. The panel replacement seems to be recent, along with all the strobes, except for one.

System Specifications

FACP

The fire alarm control panel is a Kidde VS4. The panel is located in the automotive entrance, and although the system is addressable, the system is set up in a non-addressable manner. The panel was installed around 2015-16, replacing an EST ESA2000 or 6632.

Notification Appliances

The main notification appliances are Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bells with Wheelock "Exceder LED3" LSTW3-N (white, wall, no FIRE) LED remote strobes under them. The strobes replaced EST "Integrity" 202-5A-T remote strobes or EST "Integrity" 403-5A-R strobe plates when the VS4 was installed, however the bells were kept. One strobe has been replaced with a Mircom FS-240R remote strobe prior to the VS4 due to an Integrity strobe no longer working, and it is still installed and it is near the open ceiling part. In aisle 41, there is an Edwards 439D-10AWC bell on a Wheelock RSSP-2415W strobe plate. Two Edwards bells have broke down, one was replaced with a Mircom BL-10B motor bell, and the other with a Mircom BL-6B motor bell, respectively. The Mircom bells can be found near the aisle closest to the cashiers.
