Cambridge Red Deer Hotel & Conference Centre is a hotel in Red Deer, Alberta. It has a large conference centre, as well as a pool, and many other amenities. It opened in 1956, and was renovated in 2007. The fire alarm system was upgraded in 2013. This page will cover both the current and previous fire alarm systems.
System Specifications
FACP
The building is protected by an EST3 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located behind the front desk. The system runs EST’s Signature-series addressable protocol, is voice evac, and is two stage.
Notification Appliances
The notification appliances vary throughout the hotel. The hallways, lobby area, conference centre, and most other common areas have EST 757-5A-SS70 “Enhanced Integrity” speaker/strobes (70V, red, wall-mount). The pool area has System Sensor “SpectrAlert Advance” SPRKA speakers (70V, red, wall-mount) with EST CS405-7A-T weatherproof remote strobes beside or underneath them.

All pull stations are EST SIGA-270P Signature-series addressable 2-stage single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are EST SIGA-PS Signature-series addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the facility. The detectors in the rooms are mounted on EST SIGA-AB4G sounder bases.
