572 Aero Drive NE is the address of an industrial building in the Stoney 2 industrial area of Northeast Calgary. This building houses Goodfood Market, Flying Squirrel Trampoline Park, Laser City, and Cimco Refrigeration. It was built in 2014, and the system is undoubtedly original.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by a Mircom FX-2000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown, but has been confirmed by the initiating devices. The system runs Mircom’s CLIP addressable protocol, and does code 3 in alarm.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are Mircom “Select-A-Horn/Strobe” FHS-340R horn/strobes (red, wall-mount), set on code 3 broadband, and 15 candela. The washrooms in Flying Squirrel have Mircom “Select-A-Strobe” FS-340R remote strobes (red, wall-mount), set on 15 candela. The notification appliances in the other units are unknown, but are likely the same as above.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Mircom MS-401AD addressable single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There may be Mircom MIX-2251B addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in the facility, but this is unconfirmed.
