System Specifications (1999-present)
FACP
The lodge is protected by an Edwards EST2 addressable fire alarm system. The panel itself is not visible, it is located in an electrical room in the underground parking. It is original. The system runs EST's Signature-series addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal
Annunciators
There is an EST 2-LSRA-C remote annunciator at the main entrance.
Notification Appliances
The notification appliances mainly consist of the original General Signal MB10-24/MB74330 motor bells. There are a few that are vandalized or mounted weirdly, such as the 1st and 5th floors having an upside down one, and the one in the elevator room in the parking garage (P2 level) has part of its label missing. There are about 4 bells per floor. There are General Signal-branded EST 683-1C silenceable mini horns in the hallways of each unit. Some units have their mini-horns upside down. The mini-horns are original as well. In the hallway to the entrance beside the pools, there is an Edwards MB10-24 motor bell which replaced an original General Signal bell that failed in the early 2010s. For outdoor notification at the Panorama Springs Pools, there is a General Signal MB10-24 mounted upside down under an overhang of the sauna. It is unknown how it got wired there.
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
All pull stations are EST SIGA-270 addressable single-action pull stations. Most are original with the shield logo, often confused with Edwards 270A-SPO. GE EST variants can be found on the 2nd and 4th floors, as well as some current-generation SIGA-270 pull stations as deficiency replacements. The most recent replacement was one in the parking garage.
Automatic Detection Devices
The smoke detectors are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors, most of them are original. Some were replaced with 2011-13 EST GE variants after the original ones failed.
