Staples Center is a large hockey/basketball arena and concert venue located in downtown Los Angeles, California. It hosts many award shows, including the Oscars and Academy Awards. It is also home to the Kings, Lakers and Clippers. It was built in 2000, and has the original system.

The building is protected by a Firecom LSN-2000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located near the loading dock at the northwest end of the building. The system does a slow whoop in alarm.
