101B Village Road is the address given to a two-story building in Samson Mall, Lake Louise, Alberta. It is the only building to have a fire alarm system. This plaza was built in 1982, and has Laggan's Mountain Bakery, Lake Louise Village Grill & Bar, Canada Post, and The Viewpoint. but the fire alarm system is not original. One pull station, and most of the bells may be original though.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by a Notifier NFS2-640C hybrid-addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the stairwell/elevator entrance vestibule. This panel was installed in the 2010s, replacing an Edwards Custom 6500. The system runs Notifier's FlashScan addressable protocol, and the system coding is likely temporal.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bells (6" gong). The panel area and outdoor areas have Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bells (10" gong). The restaurant has a Notifier KMS-6-24A motor bell (6" gong) as a deficiency replacement. This bell is on a Wheelock strobe plate (model to be confirmed).
