Centre Eleven is an office building located at 1121 Centre Street Northwest, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building opened in 1979, and the fire alarm system is partially original. The fire alarm system is serviced by Viking Fire Protection.

The building is protected by a Mircom FA-1000 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system coding is temporal.

Annunciators

There is a Mircom RAM-1032TZDS annunciator in a Mircom BB-1001 enclosure at the dance studio entrance.

Booster Panels

There is an Edwards BPS10A booster power supply in a closet on the first floor.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances are primarily a mix of Mircom BL-6A/BL-6B motor bells (6” gong) and Mircom BL-10A/BL-10B motor bells (10” gong). The main floor back exit has an Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bell (6” gong) installed in 2021 as a deficiency replacement. There is an Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bell (6” gong) mounted on an Edwards 403-5A-R strobe plate (15cd) in a first floor unit.

Pull Stations

All pull stations but one are Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations. There is an Edwards 274-111 conventional single-action pull station in a first floor unit.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are System Sensor C2W-BA conventional 2-wire photoelectric smoke detectors in some areas. Most areas have Fire Detection Devices CR135 conventional 135­°F fixed/rate-of-rise heat detectors.
