N3 is the name given to a 15-story high rise apartment/condominium building in East Village, SE Calgary. It is Calgary's first parking-free condo and consists of 167 units. The building was completed in 2017 and has the original fire alarm system.

System Specifications

FACP

The fire alarm panel(s) is a Simplex 4100ES. It is not visible, but the building year and the size of the building means that it is definitely a 4100ES. The panel is likely InfoAlarm. When the system goes into alarm, it does the default slow whoop, and all strobes are synchronized.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances are mainly Simplex "TrueAlert" 4906-9154 (white, ceiling, SmartSync) speaker/strobes and Simplex "TrueAlert" 4902-9721 (white, ceiling) speakers. In the hallways, the pattern is speaker/strobe, speaker, speaker/strobe, speaker, etc. In the units, there are three Simplex 4902-9721 speakers; one in each bedroom and one in the living area. On the balconies on the 2nd and 15th floors, there are Wheelock ET-1010-R (red) speakers.
