(Very, very unique fire alarm system. Got lucky with the Google images, because there was actually a photo of the FACP on there.) |

‘’’Ramada Plaza’’’ is a hotel chain across the world. No information could be found on the star rating of their inns, but they are owned and operated by Wyndham. Their headquarters are in Parsippany, New Jersey. This particular hotel is located in Downtown Regina, Saskatchewan. The hotel opened its doors in 1978, but does not have the original fire alarm system.
System Specifications
FACP
The hotel is protected by a Notifier NFS2-3030C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located behind the front desk. This panel is equipped with Notifier’s Digital Voice Command (DVC) voice evacuation module, and is voice evac. The system plays voice messages, but it is unknown what messages it plays. This system uses bells in place of tones, and does 20BPM in first stage, and code 3 in general alarm. The bells cut out when the voice messages are played, or if the panel microphone is activated. The system runs Notifier’s FlashScan addressable protocol.
Notification Appliances
Most notification appliances are Notifier KMS-10-24A motor bells (10” gong). The voice messages go through the hotel’s public address system.
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
All pull stations are Notifier MPS-950KB conventional two-stage single-action pull stations. These are wired into Notifier FMM-101A addressable modules, as they are conventional.
