Boundary Ranch is a horseback riding service in Kananaskis, AB. The main building has a fire alarm system, original from 1987 when it was built. The building has a gift shop, and a café in it.

System Specifications

FACP

The fire alarm control panel is a Simplex 4001, original to the building from 1987. The annunciator at the entrance has four zones and is Simplex, which indicates that the system is a 4001. The main FACP is not visible, it's probably in a locked room.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances are all original from 1987. They are Simplex 2901-9720 motor bells, but are on Wheelock WS strobe plates (seen on the Wheelock 46T-G6-24-WS vibrating bell/strobe), or maybe the original Wheelock bells on the strobe plates quit working and were replaced with 2901-9720 bells.

Initiating Devices
