Webber Academy is a private K-12 school located just west of Calgary, AB. The school was built in 1997 but in 2016 the school was expanded and a performing arts centre was built.

System Specifications (1997/2016-present)

FACP

The building is protected by an Edwards EST3 addressable fire alarm system. It was likely installed when the school was expanded, and replaced an EST2. The panel is located in the front entrance.  The system runs EST's Signature-series addressable protocol, and the system coding is likely temporal.

Notification Appliances

The Notification Appliances consist of Edwards 439D-10AWC (10" gong) vibrating bells mounted on EST “Integrity” 403-5A-R strobe plates (15cd). They are a mix of the original gold label ones and the newer white label ones, which were installed 2016.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

The pull stations are a mix of Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations and EST SIGA-270 addressable single-action pull stations. All conventional pull stations are wired to EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors located throughout the school, mounded on EST SIGA-SB bases.
