Shoppers Drug Mart is a chain of pharmacies across Canada. They are owned and operated by Loblaws, who is also the parent company of Superstore. This particular store is located in the Shawnessy shopping area of Southwest Calgary, and was built in 1999. The system is mostly original, with only the panel and one pull station being replacements.

The store is protected by a Mircom FA-1025T conventional fire alarm system. The panel was installed on July 29, 2019, and replaced the original EST 6604. The system coding is continuous. The permit issued for the replacement was "Fire alarm system repair.".
Notification Appliances
All notification appliances are Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bells (10” gong) on EST "Integrity” 403-5A-R strobe plates (15cd).
