Panorama Springs Lodge is a condo building located at 2080 Summit Drive, in Panorama Mountain Resort, British Columbia. It features the Panorama Springs Pools. It was built in 1999, and has the original fire alarm system, with parts replaced as deficiencies occur.

System Specifications (1999-present)

FACP

The building is protected by an Edwards EST2 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in an electrical room in the underground parking garage. The system runs EST's Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is most likely temporal.

Annunciators

There is an EST 2-LSRA-C remote annunciator at the main entrance.

Notification Appliances

Common Areas

All common area notification appliances except for one are General Signal MB10-24 motor bells (10" gong). There is an Edwards MB10-24 motor bell (10" gong) in the pool hallway installed around 2014 as a deficiency replacement. For outdoor notification, there is a General Signal MB10-24 in the Panorama Springs Pools, mounted upside down under an overhang of the sauna.

Units

The units have General Signal 683-1C silenceable mini horns.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are EST SIGA-270 addressable single-action pull stations. Most are original with the shield, but deficiency replacements of all generations starting with GE EST can be found scattered.

Automatic Detection Devices

The smoke detectors are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors, mounted on SIGA-SB bases. Deficiency replacements of all generations can be found throughout. There is also a sprinkler system with waterflow.

Modules

There are EST SIGA-CT1 addressable modules supervising the building's sprinkler system flow and tamper switches.

Bonus Information

The ground floor has a bell installed upside down, as well as the sauna. This is not a code violation, as the bells still output the required sound levels.
