Raven Meadows Golf Resort is a golf course located in Alder Flats, AB at 454065 Highway 22. Its amenities include a campground an 18-hole golf course, and formerly a hotel with a restaurant and pro shop. This page will cover the former hotel. The resort was opened in 1978, and the hotel underwent a system upgrade in 1989 confirmed by the heat detectors' labels. As of August 2021, the system was not inspected in 15 years, the panel had failed, and as a result, the system was inoperable. The system was last serviced in 2006.
In October 2021, the hotel burnt down to the ground.

The hotel was protected by an Edwards 6616 conventional fire alarm system. The panel was located in the entrance hallway. The system had three zones in use, and the system coding was continuous.

Notification Appliances
All notification appliances except one were Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bells (10” gong). The one in the lobby was vandalized; both labels ripped off, and the gong was mounted on the striker with a crosshead screw instead of the original hex bolt.
In the hallway to the restaurant, there was an Edwards “Durabel” 6100D vibrating bell (10" gong). It was painted over, except for the label.
