Hudson's Bay is a Canadian department store chain. This particular store is located at 200 8 Avenue Southwest, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This is the flagship store for the City of Calgary. The store opened in 1913, and has been renovated several times, notably in 1993. The fire alarm system was installed in the 2000s. The notification appliances remain from the previous system.

Notification Appliances

The third floor has a Cerberus Pyrotronics BMD-1024C vibrating bell (10" gong) left over from the system prior to that renovation.

The second floor has a Simplex 2901-9724 motor bell (10" gong) mounted on a Wheelock RSSP-24MCW strobe plate (set to 15cd) as a deficiency replacement.

The first floor has a Wheelock MB-G10-24 motor bell (10" gong) mounted on a Wheelock RSSP-24MCW strobe plate (set to 15cd) as a deficiency replacement.
