The fire alarm control unit is a Mircom FX-2000 in a BBX-1072A cabinet. Despite being an addressable panel, the system is mostly conventional but the main and fourth floors have been converted to addressable. It was likely installed in the early 2000s. From the devices installed throughout, it is most definitely an original Edwards 6500 as evident by the abandoned annunciator behind the current annunciator. The addressable parts of this system run Mircom's Advanced addressable protocol, and the system coding is continuous.

Addressable

There are of Mircom MIX-2251AP (photo) detectors installed on the 4rd floor.

One Mircom MIX-5351RAPA (rate of rise) heat detector recently installed at one of the tenant entrances. Along with a Mircom MIX-5251RAPA (rate of rise) heat detector in the loading dock, the main telephone room and one in the main electrical room.
