Fish Creek Recreation Complex is a large recreation complex located at 333 Shawville Blvd SE, Calgary, AB. It consists of Cardel Rec South, the Shawnessy Library, Bishop O'Byrne High School, and the Shawnessy YMCA. The facility was built in 2000, opened in 2002, and was expanded in 2012. The fire alarm panel and new wing system components are from 2012, while most devices in the 2002 portion remain original, with replacement parts being installed as deficiencies occur.

The building is protected by a Siemens FireFinder XLS addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main electrical room, directly across from the women's pool locker room. The system runs Siemens' FirePrint addressable protocol, and is configured for two-stage operation. First stage coding is 20BPM, followed by temporal in general alarm.
The FireFinder XLS replaced the original Cerberus Pyrotronics MXL in 2012.

There are Siemens SSD annunciators at every entrance.

2002 Portion
Unless otherwise mentioned, all notification appliances are Cerberus Pyrotronics MBDC-10 motor bells (10" gong) mounted on Wheelock RSSP-2475W strobe plates (75cd).
The following devices are installed as deficiency replacements:
- Siemens ST-MC-RETRO-R-B strobe plate (set to 15cd) with original bell in one hallway
- Siemens SSM24-10A on Wheelock RSSP-24MCW in the same hallway
- Mircom BL-10B on original strobe plate by child care entrance
- Siemens SFM24-10A on Siemens ST-MC-RETRO-R-B strobe plate (set to 15cd) by gym
- Potter MBA-10-24 on Siemens ST-MC-RETRO-R-B (set to 15cd) by gym and in Arena 2
