Chaparral Pointe Condos is a 3-story apartment building located at 428 Chaparral Ravine View Southeast, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building opened in 2006, and the fire alarm system is original with the exception of one notification appliance.
System Specifications (2006-present)
FACP
The building is protected by a Mircom FX-2000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Mircom's CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
Notification Appliances
All common area notification appliances are Mircom "Select-A-Horn/Strobe" FHS-240R horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to broadband/15cd). The suites have Mircom MH-S25WA silenceable mini-horns (white, wall-mount) in each bedroom. One unit has a System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" MHWZA silenceable mini-horn (white, wall-mount) as a deficiency replacement.
