Marmot Basin is an alpine ski resort located in Jasper National Park, AB. It is located 20 minutes away from Jasper. The resort has 91 ski runs, 6 chairlifts, and three daylodges. This page will cover the Eagle Restaurant & Lounge, which is located mid-mountain adjacent to the Paradise Chalet. This daylodge was built in 1964-65 as the Upper Chalet and was renamed Eagle Restaurant & Lodge in 1990. The building still retains its original fire alarm system.
This system is not connected to the Paradise Chalet.
System Specifications (1965-present)[edit | edit source]
The building is protected by a 3-wire 120V fire alarm system, so there is no panel.

All notification appliances are Edwards “Durabel” 6000D vibrating bells (6” gong).
Only one bell is in a public area, in the basement.

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]
All pull stations are first-generation Edwards 270-SPO conventional pull stations. The basement has a French variant, which is slightly pulled.
