South Health Campus is a 269-bed hospital located at 4448 Front St SE in Southeast Calgary. It consists of two towers, one for inpatient and one for outpatient, which are connected by the first floor. It is the newest hospital in Calgary, opening its doors in 2013. It is widely praised for being "not hospital-like", and having very bright and upbeat decor. The fire alarm system is original.

FACP

The hospital is protected by a two-stage Simplex 4100ES networked fire alarm system. The panels are located in an unmarked room next to the main entrance, and are equipped with the InfoAlarm Command Center. The system runs Simplex's IDNet addressable protocol, and is configured for two-stage operation. First stage is a 20BPM chime, and general alarm is the temporal chime. A security guard will page "Code red, (location of alarm)" when the system goes off.

Annunciators

There are numerous Simplex 4100-9116 "InfoAlarm Command Centre" annunciators located throughout the facility.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are from Simplex's "TrueAlert" line of products. Most notification appliances are Simplex 4906-9154 speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount). There are also Simplex 4902-9721 remote speakers (white, ceiling mount)throughout the facility. The first floor has Simplex 4906-9153 speaker/strobes (white, wall-mount), as well as Simplex 4902-9717 speakers (white, wall-mount).
