North Eugene High School is a high school located at 250 Silver Lane, Eugene, Oregon. It was built in 2022, replacing the old building which was built in 1957, expanded in 1995, 2004, was closed in 2023, and demolished in 2024. Only the original building’s fire alarm system is known.
System Specifications (Original Building)[edit | edit source]
FACP[edit | edit source]
The building was protected by a Notifier AM2020 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in a mechanical room by the main hallway that goes towards the Cafeteria. The system ran Notifier’s CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding was continuous.
Annunciators[edit | edit source]
There was a Notifier LCD-80 LCD annunciator in the entrance, and a disconnected LCD-80 in the main office.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
Most notification appliances in the original building and 1995 expansion were System Sensor “Multi-Alert” MA-SS/24 sounder strobes (red, wall-mount, 1.5cd, tone unknown.
There were also Wheelock MT-24-LSM multi-tone horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, 75cd, tone unknown) located in the upper gymnasium.
The 2004 expansion had a mix of Wheelock AS-24MCW horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd, the lower gymnasium also had them), and Wheelock NS-24MCW horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).
The bathrooms had Wheelock RSS-24MCW remote strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).
Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]
Pull Stations[edit | edit source]
Most pull stations in the original building were Notifier BNG-1 conventional pull stations (silver), wired to MMX-101 addressable monitor modules.
The 1995 expansion had Notifier BGX-101L addressable dual-action pull stations; these can be found as deficiency replacements in the original building.
The 2004 expansion had Notifier NBG-12LX addressable dual-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]
There were Notifier SDX-551 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the building.
The 2004 expansion had Notifier FSP-851 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors, mounted on B210LP bases.
