Note: This page is being heavily edited due to the fire alarm system currently getting installed in a new house.
The original Twentytwo22's Garage was a small residential garage in Sundance, built in 1994. The system was owned by User:Twentytwo22
As of September 1st, 2020 Twentytwo22 has moved to a location in Glenbrook.
The new garage was built in 1966 and plans to add period specific Initiating Devices (except automatic detection) and Notification Appliances are considered.
System Specifications
- Note: The system is currently getting installed, so it is not complete.
FACP
The fire alarm panel is an EST Quickstart QSC (conventional) with the PS6 power supply card and one ZB16 card.
Most of the zones were unused and simply have a resistor across them due to the small size of the garage. The panel was transferred over from the old garage. The panel will be setup as a timed two-stage system with an "evacuate" key switch to force the system into second stage before the 5 minute timer ends.
In first stage the panel will do 20bpm (slow march) and 120bpm March time in second stage.
Notification Appliances
The notification appliances consist of a Simplex 2901-9722 10" motor bell. An Edwards "Durabel" 6100D vibrating bell (6" gong, 1964 gen) and an EST Genesis G1-VM (white, no fire marking) remote strobe will be installed in the attic. Twentytwo22 has plans install a Wheelock RSSP-2415W-FR strobe plate, a Notifier KMS-10-24A motor bell, and three Wheelock "Exceder" STWC (white, ceiling) remote strobes.
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
Currently, the only pull station installed as of 12/27/2020 is a Fire-Lite BG-12L (keylock) a section of drywall directly above the BG-12L was temporarily removed to aid in running wires.

There was is automatic detection device, a System Sensor C4W-B (i3) smoke detector.

The two notification appliances were a Simplex 2901-9722 10" motor bell installed to accommodate owner preference and one EST Genesis G1-VM (white, no fire marking) remote strobe.
