System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by an EST Quickstart QS4 hybrid-addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located next to the main entrance. The panel has one SLIC addressable card for the smoke detectors, and several ZB16 zone cards to accommodate the conventional pull stations. The system runs EST’s Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances vary throughout the hotel. In most areas, there is a mix of Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bells (10” gong) and General Signal MB10-24 motor bells (10” gong). The pool area has an Edwards MB10-24 motor bell (10” gong), installed in the 2010s as a deficiency replacement. The guest rooms have Edwards 682-1C mini-horns (white, wall-mount, non-silenceable).

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

Most pull stations are Edwards 275-C111 conventional single-action pull stations. The breakfast room and pool area have Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations as deficiency replacements.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the hotel, mounted on EST SIGA-SB bases.

EOLs

There are Edwards EOL-P1 end of line resistor plates on all signal circuits. [[]
