Westbrook Mall is a shopping mall located at 1200 37 Street NW, Calgary, Alberta. The anchor tenants are Safeway and Walmart. The mall opened in 1964, and underwent renovations in 2002. The fire alarm system was upgraded during the renovation.

FACP

The building is protected by an Edwards EST3 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in an electrical room on the west side of the mall. The system runs Edwards’ Signature addressable protocol, and is configured for two-stage operation. Alert signal coding is 20BPM, followed by temporal for the alarm signal.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are Edwards “Integrity” 757-5A-T horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd), mounted on the ceiling.
