System Specifications
FACP
The building is protected by a Mircom FX-2000 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system coding is temporal.
Notification Appliances
All notification appliances but two are Edwards "Durabel" 6100D vibrating bells (6" gong).
There are two Mircom BL-6B motor bells (6" gong) on the first floor as deficiency replacements.
Bells are located throughout all corridors; there are no insuite devices in this building.
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
All pull stations but one are Mircom MS-401 conventional single-action pull stations.
There is a Notifier NFM-950B conventional single-action pull station in the main floor corridor by the fire doors.
All pull stations were installed in the 2000s, replacing Edwards 275-C111 conventional pull stations, which in turn replaced Edwards 274-101 conventional pull stations in the 1980s.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are System Sensor C2W-BA conventional photoelectric smoke detectors throughout all aboveground corridors, and at the top of each stairwell.
There are Edwards 245A conventional 135°F fixed-temperature heat detectors in the boiler room and rear basement corridor.
There is a Mircom TD-135 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature heat detector in the laundry room as a deficiency replacement.
EOLs
There are Edwards EOL-P1 end of line resistor plates on all circuits but one.
There is a Mircom MP-300 end of line resistor plate on the remaining circuit.
