Mid-Mountain Lodge (Nakiska)

From FireAlarmPedia
Revision as of 20:28, 29 July 2020 by Twentytwo22 (talk | contribs)

The Mid Mountain Lodge is another daylodge in Nakiska Ski Resort, except this one is in the middle of the mountain, right off the top of the Olympic Chairlift. Most likely this daylodge was built in 1987 when the chairlift was added. Just like the main daylodge, the panel is not original, but in the original panel's cabinet.

System Specifications

FACP

The fire alarm panel is a Mircom FA-1000, but with one bay. It was installed in the late 2000s-early 2010s. It replaced an Edwards 2280 from 1987, but the FA-1000 is in the 2280 cabinet. The panel is located in an exit.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances are all Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bells. They are original from 1987.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

The pull stations are a mix of Edwards 274-111 and Edwards 275-C111 pull stations, again from 1987.

Automatic Detection Devices

The smoke detectors are unknown, but the heat detectors are Edwards 280B-PL mechanical heat detectors.
