Walmart Supercentre (Okotoks)

From FireAlarmPedia
Revision as of 09:45, 17 September 2021 by TwentyThree33 (talk | contribs) (There's no way they put SmartSync horn/strobes as replacements. That would require a full-on panel rebuild, as 2000s Simplex panels cannot do per-NAC sync or coding. It's either SmartSync or free-run for everything.)
System Specifications
FACP: Simplex 4100U
System Type: Addressable
System Line Voltage: 120VAC
NAC Voltage: 24VDC
Date of last known Upgrade: Late 2000s-2010s

Walmart is a chain of big-box stores in North America. This particular location was built in approximately 2004, and has the original fire alarm system.

System Specifications

FACP

The fire alarm panel is a Simplex 4100U. The panel is original, and it is located in the left entrance.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances are mainly the original System Sensor "SpectrAlert" P1224MCA (red, wall) horn/strobes. There's also some System Sensor "SpectrAlert" S1224MCA (red, wall) strobes around the store which are also original, most notably on the pillars. The pillars have two horn/strobes on opposite sides, and two remote strobes on the others. Replacements include Simplex "TrueAlert" 4904-9168 (red, wall) remote strobes, and Simplex "TrueAlert" 4903-9425 (red, wall, 4-wire) horn/strobes, replacing System Sensor horn/strobes and strobes that failed.
