Flames Community Arenas is an arena complex located in the Garrison Woods neighbourhood of Southwest Calgary. It has three arenas. The Blue Arena, which is olympic-sized, and has a seating capacity of 500, the Red Arena, which is NHL sized, and has a capacity of 250, and the Gold Arena, which is NHL sized and has a capacity of 200. The Blue and Gold arenas were built in 1986, while the the Red Arena was built in 2011. The system is from 2011.

System Specifications

FACP

The complex is protected by a Notifier NFS-320C addressable fire alarm panel. The panel is located in the former main entrance (now the side entry). It replaced a Mirtone 7800, judging by the End of Line Resistor plates being Mirtone. The system does code 3 when in alarm, with all strobes synchronized.

Annunciators

There is a Notifier LCD-80 annunciator in the main entrance.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" P2RA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount). They are set on code 3, high volume.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Notifier NBG-12LX addressable dual-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

The main lobby, lounge, dressing room hallways, and dressing rooms have Notifier FSP-851 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors.
