Canyon Meadows is an CTrain LRT station in SW Calgary, it was opened in 2001 as part of the South LRT Extension on the Calgary Transit Red Line. The fire alarm system is from 2016.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by an EST QuickStart QS1 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in an electrical room next to the elevator on the platform level. The system runs EST's Signature-series addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal. fire alarm panel is an EST QuickStart QS1 (addressable) which is not visible from the public area. However, there is 1 EST QSA-1-F (flush mount) annunciator on the upper level near the exit.

Annunciators

There is an EST QSA-1-C annunciator at the main entrance, with an EST QS1-CPU-1 annunciator and an EST SL30 zone annunciation card inside.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are EST "Genesis" G1R-HDVM horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, no lettering, set to 15cd) mounted on EST G1TR trim plates.

Pull Stations

All pull stations are EST SIGA-270 addressable single action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are EST SIGA2-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the station, mounted on EST SIGA-SB bases.
