Brentwood Station is an LRT station in Calgary, Alberta. It is the fourth-last stop for Tuscany-bound Red Line CTrains, and is owned and operated by Calgary Transit. The station is located in the Brentwood neighborhood of Northwest Calgary, and opened in 1990. The system was partially replaced in the 2010s, but the notification appliances are original.

System Specifications

FACP

The station is protected by an EST QuickStart QS1 addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown, but the model is confirmed by the smoke detectors and typical installations by Calgary Transit. The system runs EST’s Signature-series addressable protocol, and likely does code 3 in alarm.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are Simplex 2901-9720 motor bells (6” gong). These are original to the station.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

There are no pull stations noticed in the building, likely to combat false alarms.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the station.
