Fish Creek Library is a public library located in the Willow Park neighborhood of Calgary, Alberta. It is a branch of the Calgary Public Library. Opened in 1984, the library has received much praise for its pyramid design, and bright, open interior. The library underwent a large renovation in 2014, and received a new fire alarm system as part of those renos.
System Specifications
FACP
The library is protected by a Notifier NFS-320C addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown, but has been confirmed by the annunciator, and size of the building. The system runs Notifier’s FlashScan addressable protocol, and does code 3 in alarm.
Annunciators
There is a set of two annunciators by the main entrance. One is a Notifier LCD-80TM Terminal annunciator, and the other is a Notifier ACM-24AT 24-LED annunciator.
Notification Appliances
All notification appliances are from System Sensor’s “SpectrAlert Advance” line of products. Most areas have System Sensor P2RA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount). The washrooms have System Sensor SRA remote strobes (red, wall-mount).
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
All pull stations are Notifier MPS-950B conventional single-action pull stations. These are wired to Notifier FMM-101A addressable modules, which are located behind the stations.
Automatic Detection Devices
There may be Notifier FSP-851A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors present, however this is unconfirmed.
