Canyon Meadows is an CTrain LRT station in SW Calgary, it was opened in 2001 as part of the South LRT Extension on the Calgary Transit Red Line. The fire alarm system is from 2016.
System Specifications
FACP
The building is protected by an EST QuickStart QS1 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in an electrical room next to the elevator on the platform level. The system runs EST's Signature-series addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
Annunciators
There is an EST QSA-1-C annunciator at the main entrance, with an EST QS1-CPU-1 annunciator and an EST SL30 zone annunciation card inside.
Notification Appliances
All notification appliances are EST "Genesis" G1R-HDVM horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, no lettering, set to 15cd) mounted on EST G1TR trim plates.

All pull stations are EST SIGA-270 addressable single action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are EST SIGA2-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the station, mounted on EST SIGA-SB bases.

FACP
The building was protected by a Notifier AFP-200 addressable fire alarm system. The panel was located at the entrance to the platform. The system ran Notifier's CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding was temporal.
Annunciators
There was a Notifier LCD-80 annunciator at the main entrance to the station, where the current annunciator sits.
Notification Appliances
All notification appliances were System Sensor "SpectrAlert" P2415A horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, 15cd).
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
All pull stations were Notifier MPS-950B conventional single-action pull stations. Each pull station was wired to a Notifier MMX-101A addressable monitor module, mounted directly behind each station.
Automatic Detection Devices
Not known, but were present.
Known Activations
November 19, 2022: At approximately 2:15 PM, the pull station by the east platform door was pulled. CFD investigated the alarm, and it was found to be false. No information is known regarding who activated the alarm. More activations to be added later.
