The Calgary Tower is a lookout tower and tourist attraction in Downtown Calgary, Alberta. It is known for its view of the city, and its revolving restaurant. The tower is 191 meters tall, and was the tallest building in Western Canada when it opened in 1968. The fire alarm system is not original; it was installed in the 2000s.

System Specifications

FACP

The tower is protected by an Edwards EST3 addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown. The system runs EST's Signature addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The system is configured for two-stage operation, however the messages and/or tones are unknown at this time.

Notification Appliances

Most areas have EST "Genesis" G4-S7VM speaker/strobes (white, wall-mount, 70V, set to 15cd). The restrooms and possibly other areas have EST G1-VM remote strobes (white, wall-mount, no lettering, set to 15cd).

All pull stations are EST SIGA-270P addressable two-stage single-action pull stations.
