Costco is a chain of big-box warehouse stores across North America. This particular store is located at 99 Heritage Gate Southeast, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The store opened in 2006, and the fire alarm system is original with the exception of the FACP.

System Specifications (2006-present)

FACP

The building is protected by a 2-node Notifier NFS-320C addressable fire alarm system. One panel is located at the returns desk of the main store, and the other is located in the liquor store entrance vestibule. These panels are networked using a Notifier NOTI-FIRE-NET fibre network. The system runs Notifier's FlashScan addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are System Sensor “SpectrAlert” P2415A horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, 15cd, set to electromechanical).

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Notifier MPS-950B conventional single-action pull stations. All stations are wired to Notifier FMM-101A addressable monitor modules, located directly behind each station.

Automatic Detection Devices

The building is protected by a sprinkler system with waterflow detection, so there are no detectors. [[]
