Southgate Centre is a shopping mall located at 5015 111 Street Northwest, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It has an area of about 90,000 square metres, and has 165 outlets. It is owned by Ivanhoe Cambridge. The mall opened in 1970, and had a major expansion in 2008-2009. The fire alarm system was upgraded in 1997, and again in 2009, with new parts installed as new tenants open. The mall is also currently being expanded, but the system will remain as part of a network.
Though some stores are on the same system, Hudson's Bay and Safeway have their own separate fire alarm systems.
