Bridlewood Centre is a small professional building located at 2577 Bridlecrest Way Southwest, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building opened in 2008, and the fire alarm system is original.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by a Simplex 4008 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main electrical room. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding is continuous.

Notification Appliances

All indoor notification appliances are Simplex 2901-9723 motor bells (6” gong) mounted on Wheelock RSSP-24MCW strobe plates (set to 15cd). The bells and strobes are wired in series. For outdoor notification, there is a System Sensor “SpectrAlert” S2415KA remote strobe (red, wall-mount, 15cd) outside the main electrical room.

All pull stations are Simplex 4099-9001 addressable single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Simplex “TrueAlarm” 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the building, as well as Simplex 4098-9733 addressable fixed/rate-of-rise heat detectors in some areas. All detectors are mounted on Simplex 4098-9792 addressable bases. The building is not equipped with a sprinkler system.
