FAC Deerfoot, also known as First Alliance Church, is a Catholic Church located at 12345 40 Street Southeast, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The church opened in 2009, and everything but the panel is original.
System Specifications
FACP
The building is protected by an Edwards iO1000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main boiler room. The system runs Edwards’ Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
Annunciators
There is an EST RLCD-C annunciator paired with an EST RLED24 annunciator in the East entrance vestibule. Both annunciators are housed in an Edwards RA-ENC2 annunciator enclosure.
Notification Appliances
All areas except washrooms have Edwards “Genesis” G1R-HDVM horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, no marking, set to 15cd). The washrooms have Edwards G1R-VM remote strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd, no marking).

All pull stations are EST SIGA-270 addressable single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in the following rooms: elevator lobbies, top of D wing elevator shaft, top of stairwells, Bridge 256.
There is an EST SIGA-HRS addressable 135 fixed/rate-of-rise heat detector at the top of the loft elevator shaft.
There are EST SIGA-SD duct smoke detectors on all AHUs, RTUs and MUAs. The building is fully sprinklered.
Modules
There are EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.
There are EST SIGA-IM isolator modules on the SLC.
EOLs
There are Edwards EOL-P1 end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
