Ramada Plaza is a hotel chain across the world. Tey are owned and operated by Wyndham. Their headquarters are in Parsippany, New Jersey. This particular hotel is located in at 1818 Victoria Ave, Regina, Saskatchewan. The hotel opened its doors in 1978, and the fire alarm system was installed in the late 2000s.

System Specifications

FACP

The hotel is protected by a Notifier NFS2-3030C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located behind the front desk. This panel is equipped with Notifier’s Digital Voice Command (DVC) voice evacuation module, so is equipped with voice-evacuation. The system plays voice messages, but it is unknown what messages it plays. This system uses bells in place of tones, the alert signal is 20BPM, followed by temporal for the alarm signal.

The bells cut out when the voice messages are played, or if the panel microphone is activated. The system runs Notifier’s FlashScan addressable protocol.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are Notifier KMS-10-24A motor bells (10” gong).

The voice messages go through Arnscott ASALA2G25W remote speakers (square, ceiling-mount, 8", 70V)

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Notifier MPS-950KB conventional two-stage single-action pull stations. These are wired into two Notifier FMM-101A addressable modules per station, as they are conventional.

Automatic Detection Devices

None noticed. There is a sprinkler system.

There are Notifier FMM-1A addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.

EOLs

There are Notifier EOL-CR end-of-line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
