The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology is a trade school located in Calgary, Alberta. This page will cover the Stan Grad Centre, which is the main building of the campus. It was built in 2000, and fire alarm system is original.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by an Edwards EST3 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the campus security office lobby. The system runs EST’s Signature addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The system is also configured for two-stage, however the messages and/or tones are unknown at this time.
The system, like all, are part of a campus-wide network.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are Edwards 965-7A-4RW 4” speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, 70V, 15/75cd).

All pull stations are EST SIGA-270P addressable two-stage single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

Not currently known. There is a sprinkler system.

There are EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.
