Tao of Peace is a martial arts studio located at 6331 Bowness Rd NW in Calgary. It was built in 1977, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in 2000.

FACP
The studio is protected by a Mircom Series FA-1000 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is in the front entrance.. It is unknown why they went for such a large panel like a Mircom FA-1000. The system coding is likely continuous.
The Series FA-1000 was installed in 2011, and replaced a Notifier SFP-400B.
Notification Appliances
There are three notification appliances in the whole building.
- Wheelock MB-G6-24 motor bell (6" gong) rebranded by Fire-Lite/Notifier on a Wheelock RSSP-2415W (red, multi-candela) strobe plate by entrance
- Wheelock MB-G10-24 motor bell (10" gong) on a Wheelock RSSP-24MCW (multi-candela) strobe plate near exit
- Wheelock MB-G6-24 motor bell (6" gong), also on an RSSP-24MCW strobe plate

Pull Stations
There are three pull stations:
- Simplex MS-301C conventional pull station by the entrance
- Notifier NFM-950B by the right exit
- Mircom MS-401 at the far left exit.
Automatic Detection Devices
None noticed.
EOLs
There are Notifier EOL-CR end-of-line resistor plates on all circuits.
