The University of Calgary is a public research university in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This page will cover the Science Theatres building, located at 618 Campus Place Northwest. The building opened in 1970, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in 2016.

The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The system is configured for two-stage operation, however the messages and/or tones are unknown at this time.

Most notification appliances are Simplex “TrueAlert” 4906-9157 speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, set to 15cd/70V).
Areas with high ceilings have Simplex 4906-9151 speaker/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd/70V).
