Nickle House is an adult continuing care facility operated under the Carewest marque of Alberta Health Services. The local health authority in Alberta, Canada. This particular location is located at 950 Robert Road NE in Calgary, AB. It was built in 2000, and the system is original to the building.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by a Notifier AFP-200 fire alarm system. The panel is located in the front entrance vestibule. The system runs Notifier's CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is setup as two-stage, however it is setup in a poor manner. As the two stage key switch activates drill and likely does not have a timed evacuation. It does 20BPM slow march in Alert and Temporal in Evacuation.

There is a Notifier LCD-80 in the nurses office.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are System Sensor "SpectrAlert" P2415WA horn/strobes (white, wall-mount, 15cd/electromechanical).

There are a few System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" P4RA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd) as deficiency replacements.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Notifier MPS-950KB two stage pull stations, wired to two Notifier MMX-101A addressable monitor modules each.

Automatic Detection Devices

All smoke detectors are Notifier FSP-851A photoelectric smoke detectors, mounted on System Sensor B710LPA bases.

Waterflow Switches

There is one Potter PS10 waterflow pressure switch attached to a dry system, wired to a Notifier MMX-101A addressable monitor module.
