Trail Appliances is a Canadian appliance store chain. This particular location is located at 650 Crowfoot Crescent NW in Crowfoot, NW Calgary. This building was built in 2002 as the Crowfoot BMW Gallery. It was renovated in 2018-2019, officially opened as Trail Appliances in September 2019. The fire alarm system is obviously not original to the building, although it is the first fire alarm system.

System Specifications (2019-present)

FACP

The store is protected by a Notifier NFS-320C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is in the main entrance of the store, and was installed in 2019 as the first fire alarm system. The system runs Notifier's FlashScan addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances

All of the indoor notification appliances are from System Sensor's "L-Series" lineup. The main notification applinaces are System Sensor PC2WLA (white, ceiling-mount, bilingual) horn/strobes and SCWLA (white, ceiling-mount, bilingual) remote strobes. On one wall by the fridge display, there is a System Sensor SWLA (white, wall-mount, bilingual) remote strobe, likely for more visual coverage.

Outside, by the entrance, there is a System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" SRKA (red, wall-mount, weatherproof, multi-candela) remote strobe.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

The pull stations are Notifier NBG-12LX addressable dual-action pull stations. The polling LEDs are OFF.
