Trail Appliances is a chain of appliance stores in Western Canada. This particular store is located at 5104 50 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB. It was built in 2023 to replace the old location. The fire alarm system is original.

The building is protected by an Autocall 4010ES addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. This panel is equipped with the TSD touchscreen interface, and the cabinet size is two-bays. The system runs Autocall’s IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are from Autocall’s “TrueAlert” line of products. Most notification appliances are Autocall A4906-9130 horn/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, set to 30cd), these are found on the sales floor and in low ceilings. There are Autocall A4906-9104 remote strobes (white, ceiling-mount, set to 30cd) mixed on the sales floor for additional visual coverage. The entrance vestibule, washrooms and near the washroom hallway have Autocall A4906-9127 horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).
For outdoor notification, there is an Autocall A4906-9131 weatherproof horn/strobe (red, wall-mount, set to 75cd) by the loading dock.

All pull stations are Autocall A4099-9004 addressable single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

None noticed, there is a sprinkler system with waterflow detection.

Modules

There are Autocall AC4090-9001 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.
