The Canmore Provincial Building is a provincial office building and courthouse located at 800 Railway Ave, Canmore, AB. The building was built in 1981, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in the late 2000s.

The building is protected by a Notifier NFS-320C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main electrical room. The system runs Notifier’s FlashScan addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

All pull stations are Notifier NBG-12LX addressable dual-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are Notifier FST-851RA addressable 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors throughout the building.
The stairwell and mechanical room have Notifier FSP-851A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors.
One stairwell has an FDD CR-135 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detector.
The wildlife storage room has an FDD CR-135-EWP conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise explosionproof heat detector.
Both conventional heat detectors are wired to Notifier FMM-1A addressable monitor modules.
There is a System Sensor DNRA duct smoke detector housing with a Notifier FSP-851A addressable photoelectric head on the main air handling unit.
EOLs
There are Notifier EOL-CR end-of-line resistor plates on all signal circuits.
There is an Edwards EOL-P1 end-of-line resistor plate on the stairwell heat detector circuit.
