'Acadia Aquatic and Fitness Centre' is a swimming pool/fitness centre in the Acadia neighborhood of Southeast Calgary. It is owned and operated by the city of Calgary. It was built in 1979, but the system is not original.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by a Mircom FX-2000 addressable fire alarm panel. It is located in the main entrance. When in alarm, the system likely does continuous.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are Wheelock MBS-G6-24 motor bell/strobes. In the fitness centre, one bell/strobe failed, and was replaced with a Mircom "Select-A-Horn" FHS-240R horn/strobe.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Mircom MS-401AP "Advanced Protocol" addressable pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Mircom MIX-2251AP addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the facility.
