Tao of Peace is a martial arts studio in Bowness, NW Calgary. It was built in 1977, but the system is not original. It also has an overkill system, the fire alarm control unit is way too big for a building that size.
System Specifications
FACP
The fire alarm control panel is a Mircom FA-1000. It is in the front entrance, and was installed sometime before 2013. It is unknown why they went for such a large panel like a Mircom FA-1000, they could have easily gone for an FA-101.
Notification Appliances
There are two notification appliances in the whole building. After the entrance, there is a Wheelock MB-G6-24 motor bell rebranded by Fire-Lite on a Wheelock RSSP-24MCW strobe plate. By the mats by an exit, there's a Wheelock MB-G10-24 motor bell on a Wheelock RSSP-24MCW strobe plate, and the other signal on the far left of the mats is a true Wheelock MB-G6-24 motor bell, also an an RSSP-24MCW strobe plate.

By the entrance, there is a Simplex MS-301C. At the exit right under the 10" bell/strobe combo, there's a Notifier NFM-950B. The exit at the far left has a Mircom MS-401.
